Myron Smith

Since his freshman year of Magna Vista High School, Myron Smith has performed in over a dozen plays including Into the Woods, Children of Eden, and Lil' Abner. On November 17, 2001, he was awarded a medal for "Best Actor" at the VHSL Region IV Festival for his role as "Beast" in Where Petals Never Fall.

He has helped organize many events over the years at the historic Rives Theatre in Martinsville, VA - booking local bands as well as acts from as far away as Detroit, MI to Tampa, FL.

In 2009, he graduated from the FastTrac NewVenture program.

In 2011, Patrick Henry Community College awarded him the Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree with a major in General Studies and a specialization in Visual Arts.

He is founder of Magical Pig Publishing Company, which produces popularly reviewed titles such as Crazed Mazes, of which he is the editor and creator.

He became  co-writer/director of the movie Young Blood: Evil Intentions (2012) and Invasion of the Killer Cicadas. (2014) Where he also played several parts in both movies including acting and behind the scenes work.

Animation Treasures is a show hosted by Myron Smith on Youtube that seeks to dig up great cartoons that have been longed for or perhaps forgotten. He hopes to find a few that many never knew existed. There are interviews, reviews and even short skits included in the web series. The first episode was posted May 6th, 2014 and new episodes are posted on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
